Migrant Voices

Migrant Voices comes from the voices of Itamar Erez, an Israeli guitarist, and Iranian percussionist Hamin Honari.

Tune in to our next Global Ginga episode on KZSU, where we feature a special interview with multi-instrumentalist Itamar Erez, an Israeli-Canadian artist renowned for his collaborative album "Migrant Voices" with Iranian percussionist Hamin Honari. The instrumental tracks on this album are rich with spontaneous interplay, unexpected moods, and musical shifts, reflecting the importance of openness to diverse perspectives in our society. Join DJ Globally Carla this Friday at 5 pm as she delves into Erez's creative process and his views on the current crisis in the Middle East. The episode also features music from unexpected parts of the world, including Bangladesh and Senegal. Don’t miss this unique broadcast, streaming live at kzsu.stanford.edu/live.
